Once I saw a red haired boy laughing manically
on his lawn I knew he was one of the touched
A 5 yr. old holyfool not yet hooked in to the
space&time continuum Not quite human but
soon too soon
Last night on CNN a man crying on his lawn
He’d had a visitation 6 five year olds sitting
neatly like scouts You could tell he believed
them angels The blood of their young teacher
splashed on shirts & jeans
What land will they inhabit now except the inbetween –
Hello. Is anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me?
